Personal Statement

I am currently the ERIE Program Coordinator.  As a native of Western NY, I was lucky to grow up surrounded by two Great Lakes and numerous stream systems. I have always had an interest in water that grew into a desire to learn about how stream ecosystems work and how to best protect and restore them. I am broadly interested in the linkages between fluvial geomorphology, stream habitat, and macroinvertebrate ecology and how to transfer those relationships into stream restoration and watershed management practices.
